A Visit with Robert Oshatz

When I first saw one of Robert Oshatz’s homes floating on the Willamette River, I was awestruck. Years later, on June 18th, 2025, thanks to some alignment with a mutual friend, I had the opportunity to meet the architect himself! We toured his incredible self-designed home which overlooks Elk Rock and talked about everything from creative confidence to modern life to parenting and relationships. What I found was a deeply kind, endlessly curious, and incredibly enough - still searching for new clients - artist.
